This edition of the IIM Journal brings together four peer-reviewed empirical studies exploring the intersection of data governance, information security, and administrative efficiency across Nigerian institutions.
The issue opens with an examination of how government policy shapes investment, infrastructure, and technological advancement in Nigeria's information management industry, followed by a study linking data governance practices to information security performance in Rivers State's public sector.
The third paper investigates how smart office systems automation tools, cloud platforms, and document management systems strengthen data integrity assurance in tertiary institutions, while the closing study examines the role of administrative control (policy direction, discipline, goal direction, and accessibility) in driving resource management efficiency within the construction industry, highlighting organizational culture as a key moderating factor.
